Shankar Tiwari – the founder of Travel Nepal, is the most demanded Bird Guide in the country. He was born in Chitwan District and then obtained all his education near his home village. Later on, He started his career by working at one of the Tourist Resort in Royal Chitwan National Park as a Naturalist for 6 years and again he joined another one of Nepal’s good birding team to work as a resident Sr. Naturalist at Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve for more over 4 years while leading Birding groups from Kathmandu to many other places in the whole Country for more than 10 years, from that regular hard work he has collected greater experiences about birds and other wildlife. Shankar has traveled a lot within country with very serious birders mostly from UK, Germany, Australia, Japan, Canada & USA and beyond the country like India, Bhutan & Sri Lanka. He usually travels annually to foreign countries to have first-hand knowledge about birds and mammals. No doubt! We can say Shankar is the topmost knowledgeable bird guide in the country, and he can guide any types of tours within the country & in India.
Shankar is very dedicated to Environment; he cares a lot about the environment. He motivates people for minimum use of Plastic bags, and He has coordinated Pithuwa Green Club in his home village where he has tried his best to educate children and ask those children to join as members of this club and educate well cleaning and picking up dirty plastics to recycle. He is educating young children where they do clean campaigns as much as possible and do some planting in public and private places annually.
Rasila Shankhadev Tiwari – co founder of Travel Nepal is from Kathmandu and she did her Master’s Degree in Marketing from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu and Diploma in Tourism Management and Sales & Marketing from New Delhi, India. She started her career with Market Research where she did wide range of Marketing and Social Research. After 4 years of research experience she joined the Tourist industry with a leading Nepalese destination management company as Sales Manager. During the period of tourism crisis in Nepal she went to New Delhi to upgrade herself and worked for 2 years in hospitality industry as Marketing Manager where she got further experience of the travel industry. She is excellent in language and sales promotions.
