Detail Itinerary

  • Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu.
  • Transfer to your hotel and take a rest to maintain Jet lag or If time permits, explore the vibrant streets of Thamel or visit some of Kathmandu’s famous local’s shopping Sites, Asan and New Road.

  • Take a domestic flight from Kathmandu to Dhangadhi
  • From Dhangadhi to Attaria Chowk then Scenic drive heads north up into the Siwalik and Mahabharat hills via Bhimdatta Highway about 4 to 5 hours (140 km) to Dadeldhura town which serves as the gateway to Khaptad National Park.
  • Overnight stay in Amargadhi Bazar in Dadeldhura.

  • Early morning birding around the area then after late breakfast drive to Jhingrana.
  • The section from Dadeldhura down to Doti / Silgadhi and up to field entry point like Jhingrana takes an additional 3 to 4 hours of rough drive to Khaptad National Park.
  • Stay overnight at Jhingrana.
  • Ff time permits then we will try to find some good birds around

 

  • At the Jhigrana entry point of Khaptad National Park, we take all necessary permits and registrations then start your trekking to Khaptad.
  • Trek to your first accommodation within the park.
  • Enjoy the serene surroundings and immerse yourself in nature.

  • After breakfast, begin your trek back to the entrance of Khaptad National Park.
  • Drive back to Silgadhi.
  • Spend the evening relaxing and reflecting on your adventure.
  • Overnight stay in Silgadhi.

  • Depart from Silgadhi and drive back to Dhangadhi or Nepalgunj.
  • Take a domestic flight back to Kathmandu.
  • Rest and relax in Kathmandu or indulge in some last-minute shopping for souvenirs.
  • Farewell dinner in Kathmandu to celebrate the successful completion of your journey.

Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward journey or flight back home.

Fly back to Kathmandu or visit Suklaphanta
